"I rarely write reviews but let me tell you how awesome Mike is: he just fixed my septic problem, from speakerphone, in five minutes.
I'm not even in his service area.
In short, my septic alarm went off and I called my usual guy but it's after hours on a Friday so I could only leave a message. So we're looking at a weekend of either making an expensive emergency call or hoping we get lucky until Monday. Then I called Mike.
His wife (I think) answers, puts me on speaker, and I explain the situation. Mike directs me to where I can try to jiggle my float and boom, it rushes back into action. He asks if I've been gone at all lately; I just got back from a four-day vacation. He not only understood exactly what happened and helped me fix it, but explained it to me in plain language and didn't condescend even though I'm shockingly ignorant about this.
My alarm just turned off and the light went from red to green. We're saved.
He didn't ask for a penny of compensation. I realize you may be thinking "well why would he charge you if he fixed it with a five-minute phone call?" Because the value he just provided my family is great. I'd at least have asked for a six-pack. I'm not in his service area and he has nothing to profit by helping meout, but he did anyway.
Mike clearly knows his stuff and is just plain a good guy. If you're in his service area and need septic services, you just found your guy."
